Which teams have access to Report and Support?

If a report is regarding a student concern, this will be actioned by the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. If the concern is regarding a staff member, this will be actioned by People and Culture.

In response to any student concerns, any necessary safeguarding actions would be taken to ensure that the student is safe and well, and to signpost a student to internal and external support. The Mental Health and Wellbeing Team offer ongoing support to students, and you can read more about the support offered here.

If a report is received that is solely regarding financial concerns or accommodation, this may be allocated to another team in the university to action. These teams may communicate and work together to support you. You will be informed if your information is going to be shared with another team.

Student Money, Housing and Childcare Advice Team

The Student Money, Housing and Childcare Advice Team are a team of specialist advisors, including specialist financial advisors, a specialist childcare advisor and a specialist housing advisor, who offer advice and support. Reports may be passed to this team if the concerns are predominantly financial or housing concerns.

Accommodation Services

Accommodation services are a team who are able to support students find student accommodation. Reports may be passed to this team if students require urgent support finding student accommodation and are in a financial position to fund student accommodation. They will work with a student to understand their living situation and how it’s changed and discuss what housing options are available.

There are two ways you can tell us what happened
